Trafficking in persons, or human trafficking, is a broad term. The specific definition includes recruiting, harboring, transporting, providing, or obtaining a person for labor or commercial sex acts through force, fraud or coercion.
The foundation of all anti-trafficking efforts in ReachGlobal is prevention. Prevention encompasses raising awareness, recognizing critical points of intervention and calls people to actively engage in fighting the many facets of human trafficking. The Global Freedom Fund enables ReachGlobal ministry to engage where our efforts are needed most.
The Global Heritage Project is a ReachGlobal project that partners with The 6:8 Gospel in preventing young women from human trafficking and childhood marriage in Asia. We are a discipleship initiative that seeks to provide holistic care through mentorship and vocational training in the Cosmetology industry
